There are many threads to show our many kinds of jewelry, but what about our jewelry boxes?

How do you organize your jewelry? where you do it?

Show us a picture of your jewelry boxes, please (can be just the box, or with the jewelry inside as well!).

My dream jewelry box is that one:

But I would also be really happy with that one:

Someday I will have it! though that day isn´t now.

I'm in the market for a medium-large size jewelry box. I've been looking at Wolf jewelry boxes, but am open to other suggestions. Do you have one you love?

If you haven't already be sure to check out Etsy. There are loads of lovely hand-made and vintage jewelry boxes advertised there. Search for "oak jewelry box" or your favorite wood.

I know that you are set on a box, but I just want to say that stand up jewelry armories actually hold quite a lot of jewelry. I have my eye on a particular one that I've been wanting, and will probably get it sometime this year. My mother also has one and it holds a lot. They are very compartmentalized which I like too. The one I'm eyeing has room for bracelets, several different drawers (I think six or seven drawers), a mirror, spot for rings, several spots to hang necklaces, and really room for everything. I think there's even room at the bottom for a drawer to store the boxes that the jewelry that I buy comes in as well as documents that go with the jewelry like protection plans. They are typically more pricey like in the 150-300 dollar range but are worth it IMHO.

I dislike typical jewelry boxes because I don't think I would lay mine on the floor because I have a cat that scratches on things, and if you put them on something they take up dresser space/counter space. I also feel that they don't have enough space within them to hold all of my jewelry and future purchases. I don't think my cat would bother a stand up jewelry armoire because it stands up from the floor, it is not laying right on the actual floor and it would look just like an actual piece of furniture, kind of. I don't think he would think anything of it. I notice if you leave a gift bag in a corner on the floor he will crawl inside, take the tissue paper out, and rip it up all over the floor so I just can't see myself laying a beautiful, brand name jewelry box underneath the bed on the ground or somewhere. Just my opinion

Hi,

I had a Louis Vuitton Attache Briefcase customized/modified to my needs by a specialist. Finest leather, excellent build quality...

I showed it here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ore-your-jewelry.234574/page-22#post-30737237

Hi!

What I keep at hand for the week/month or plan on wearing soon is kept in a customized Louis Vuitton briefcase that sits on a table in my dressing room. I had a wonderful company, specialized in custom leather work, build the dividers and re-do the briefcase's interior, all in finest, leather for me.

WOW! That's an increadible box!

For some reason I'm reminded of some lovely cases fountain pen collectors use. (I'm so lazy about my pens that I keep them in a $3 case in my purse :P But most of mine are cheap; if I got my paws on a Nakaya I'd baby it like crazy)

Try WOLF 1834 - you can build your own jewellery box OR go with some premade versions:

I second this. They have so many elegant and pretty options and it was the anti-tarnish lining inside their boxes which I haven't seen elsewhere - that sealed the deal for me. Thanks to @BigAkoya for the lead.
