... is so beautiful and valuable to you that you are afraid to use it because you want to preserve its beauty?
I am home with my sick son and I did an inventory of my bags and I was about to use my Legacy Tanner in Sunflower (because when I use it I feel positively volcanic) when I hesitated because I don't want to get it dirty.

Not really. I use all my bags. I have bought bags before and had those thoughts for a brief period though. Then I smack myself and remind myself that I bought it to use, not put in a museum.

I have the Madison shoulder bag from a few years back in gathered leather in purple. It still takes my breath away when I take it out and I never carry it for long for fear of something happening to it.

Funny, it was a CforC assist, my first, from about two years ago. That woman is GOOD!

Yes, I have a bunch of them! Especially the vintage ones because I know I would never find another one in such good condition, and I don't want to be responsible for destroying a piece of history! I actually prefer to buy used bags because then I don't have to stress about them.

I have one bag that aged way too fast and it really bothers me - my embossed Wisteria Sophia. It's a gorgeous bag but it has wrinkled so the embossing isn't as crisp as it was.

I was worried about my sunflower duffle when I got it because the color is so light. I put a bunch of conditioner on it and it has held up fine.

Nope. I carry all my bags and they all still look spankin' new because I'm overly careful with them.

I'll take that Sunflower Tanner off your hands. That is the first Tanner I ever saw and fell in love immediately.

I had the same thought about my Carnelian duffle since it was my first Legacy bag but when I fearlessly used it for about a month, I realized it actually looked better used. It gets better the more I use it.
