This is my 72 yr old mother’s fav store and we spent two hours there over the weekend. She bought a 5 band silver rollling type ring and bought my DD a double strand heart bracelet. Total was $800. I never made it through the mall. Going back tom, w out mom (don’t tell her). Should I bring SA a little something? Wine or dessert? We hav Ebene working with her for a few years and she always remembers us.

It was also a great time to go as we had champagne, macaroons and my mom received a beautiful bouquet.

I got to hold her bag and jacket but I made her day!

No. It is not necessary. It is their job. I buy a lot from Tiffany and other high end stores, and in the beginning I felt I had to thank them as well with a gift. Not anymore. With all SAs, once you stop buying from them, they drop you like a hot potato.

Your biggest thanks is to buy from them again. They are SAs, they are not your friends. The best gift is more business and referrals for them. They will love that the most.

I don’t want to be harsh, but you are spending money with them. They should be sending you gifts and thank you cards (which my Tiffany does).

Just my two cents.

Not harsh, I appreciate the opinion. I was feeling guilty that she spent so much time with my mom and it was not a huge sale. Thank you!

I think people feel as if SAs like them because of their personalities, when in reality it is a symbiotic relationship with the exchange of tangible goods.
