Do you choose a purse based on name brand or style?

How do you base your purse purchase?

Do you purchase it based on the name brand or because you like the style (shape, pockets etc...)?

Definitely style. I buy a bag for how it looks (and how functional it is for my needs), after all, and not for the label on the inside or outside.

Style and quality. Just this year I have discovered added a few new to me brands to my collection, including Cole Haan and Smythson.

Based on style and qaulity. I tend to go for bags with heavy hardware since I think majority of my bags have chain handles.

I typically look at style, color and price (if I feel it is worth it for the quality of bag). I've also recently discovered that weight plays an issue for me too as I tend to like lighter bags.

first would be style then brand and then value - even if it was lets say an LV or gucci bag, if i think its ugly i DEFINITELY will not buy it !
