I do - the only "makeup" products I carry are an eyebrow pencil and Carmex. But I also have bandaids, hair ties, a tiny comb, travel size perfume, Advil, glasses cleaning wipes, and lotion.
No, I wear very minimal makeup. A lipstick and a mirror is all I really need. But I do carry a 'neceser' pouch - basically, just a medium-sized pouch with things like bandaids, eyedrops, matches, pins, scissors, nail file, etc.
I sure do. I have lip glosses, lip balm, aspirin, ibuprofen, pressed powder, bobby pins, comb, perfume, lotion, mirror, wipes and a small deodorant in it.
Gawd, I’m so curious. I love these types of threads.
I also carry a make up pouch with all kinds of necessities along with a hand cream, an eye liner (that I have never used) mascara and a concealer stick. I have a lipstick in my purse that never makes it into the make up bag.
And I am constantly purchasing little pouches and re-arranging. I’m obsessed. So ridiculous.
Back in the days, I used to buy a handbag and its matching cosmetic pouch. Did that a lot with Bottega Veneta. But since COVID, bag sizes have all been on the small size, so no need for cosmetic pouches anymore.
Now I use my cosmetic pouches when traveling with big bags. One for electronic cords/ AirPods what not, and one for cosmetics.
It depends. If it’s a quick errand or I’m out for a couple of hours, I usually just carry hand sanitizer and lipstick. In summer, I carry a compact to blot out any shine due to the hot weather but I should also look into blotting sheets or on-the-go face wipes since they come individually wrapped and don’t take up much room in smaller purses. If I’m out for longer periods I would add carry a little more and use a pouch.
I normally only take my lip balm/lip stick with me. If I've got a post-work event, I usually take my powder, travel size powder brush with me for a touch up.
