Do some colors look better in swift leather?

So basically I own and know Epsom. I was wondering if some colors like less intensive (not bright red), more summery ones would look better on swift leather? Unfortunately Kelly Sellier looks better for me but I like how swifts shows some colors. Or so I thought. Any thoughts?

'Best' is subjective.

Because Epsom is a stamped leather, colours tend to look more subtle when new, but harder (flatter) and shiny after a while.

Swift looks more velvety and saturated when new, increasingly dimensional and acquiring a sheen when worn.

It depends on one's personal preferences (as always).

Thank you all.
Yes, they do. In my experience, swift is one of those leathers that takes/showcases colour the best.

To me, colours seem intensified in the smooth non-grained Swift leather compared to Epsom. I like both anyhow.

Swift looks more velvety
THIS! While I don't mind grains either in my Birkin (blue electric) or other bags, when I watched pics for "summer bag" I noticed that - I'll compare it compare to human's skin on the face.
When I saw the "true" pics of Celeste with all the veins, grains it reminded me why I get Botox and facials. It seemed like wrinkled face and uneven skin textures. Not a "glowy skin" effect but matte, tired face. Swift seems like a facial, showed just a beautiful blue. However, neutrals, darker colors, blacks, strong jewel tones - they work well in Epson for some reason in my opinion.
I attach a picture - I appreciate the "true" light, no filter. I know it probably looks better in real life. It was supposed to be Sky-like, dreamy. I don't own the right to the picture.
I hope I expressed myself well enough in my non native language. Now I see that I prefer Chanel is lambskin then caviar in cute colors, not black ones so there is my pattern. In black the issue is non existent.
If you don't agree I'll happily listen :) I really do appreciate your time, knowledge.

I don't own any swift bags but I really would like to add one. I really love the way swift looks on gold (pic credit Fashionphile). I also really like the way different shades of pink look on swift esp Rose Azalee or Rose Sakura. I have a mauve sylvester bag in epsom but found a pic online of mauve sylvester swift and fell in love lol.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but is there any way you can remove a small scuff/stain from swift leather? I have a Birkin in swift leather that has a small mark and a few scuffs on the corner.

if I wanted celeste to be sky blue, very delicate and sweet in Kelly, like a candy - would you advise Epsom or Swift?
Swift. For some lighter colors, members have posted that their Epsom takes on a two tone almost like dirt on the raised surface (photos on TPF show this issue and it does not seem to be light refraction)

While I have not experienced this on my craie, bleu orage, or etoupe Epsom, a smooth leather like swift would avoid this issue entirely.

If however you want a completely upright sellier type architectural look, swift is NOT one to choose. part of its beauty is that it relaxes into a smooshy puddle. The swift related leathers are the newer Jonathan and older Gulliver (as in Jonathan Swifts Gullivers travels). While I don’t have these newer or older leathers, members have indicated similar characteristics to swift.

Yes easily, but try H Spa first and let them know the source of the stain (oil, dirt etc)… I have my bags color corrected by @docride (presumably one could use a highly professional, trusted, and reputable third party leather restoration specialist) and spa-ed by H Spa.

For example, @docride lightened my gold swift handles back to normal which I don’t believe H spa will do and also cleaned up scuffs and scraped piping.

Having said that, common wisdom on TPF is NOT to have anything done to your bags from any outside third party if you want them guaranteed to be accepted to H Spa.
