Do I need a www.hermes.com scarf?

I have the opportunity to purchase this from a friend who has an ebay store. Research indicates it was issued in 2001, artist Christine Henry. From what I have read it was issued to commemorate the launch of the H web site. [I haven't seen in in real life yet]. Would this be a good addition to my collection based on the issue? I would buy it only because you love the design, collectables just sit around your wardrobe if they don't work for you unless you plan to re-sell it.
