I personally would not. I would not get nearly enough wear out of it to justify it, and it's just not something I love. There are plenty of non-black flaps/bags out there that would be more useful. 
Yeah i'm not a fan of this one! i had the Chanel Cabas in Pale Gold Jersey and I loved it! So I would even suggest the Pale Gold Jersey Flap bag over the one posted...its cute, easy to use and a bigger size bag than the regular flap!
The metallic Reissue Flaps are great and definetly not as common! OR even the Melrose Degrade Flap.
