Do bags with pointed corners wear faster?

I am considering this bag:

I haven't had a bag with such pointed corners before and wonder if they are prone to wearing faster. I'm generally very careful with my bags, but stuff happens. Brand is Ellme, if anybody has heard of this brand or had experience with it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think in the past days there have been two threads discussing the wear of bags with corners (LV in this case), and the verdict wasn't good. My experience generally confirms this.
