I hope someone could help. I purchased a bag from the MK website. The bag came to me with no paper or plastic wrapped around the hardware and zippers like it normally would. The tag was also not attached, but tucked inside the bag. Does this mean that the bag was used/a return? Do MK bags purchased from the website always have the plastic protectors and paper all over them? (normally, it takes me 15 mins just to get everything off and this one had none). It is the Cynthia Small Saffiano Quilted Satchel. Thank you.

It's quite possible this could have been a return, especially with the tag removed & stuck in a pocket. I have ordered several bags from the MK website & they have all come beautifully packaged with wrapping & a foam like covering over hardware & handles. I would advise you to inspect your bag well for any kind of scratches or defects. If any are found, I would contact CS immediately.
 
Thank you. Yes I found some scuffs and marks on the bottom hardware (the "legs" of the bag). Yes they normally have foam all around the hardware and plastic throughout, etc. This had none, just the plastic bag it was in and the MK tissue paper around it. The bag is beautiful and in great shape, but, the tag was in the pocket and looks un-new and the scuffs on the bottom hardware and the fact also that the crossbody handle was already attached, tells me this was used and is a return item. I emailed them as I plan to exchange it for one that is brand new and packaged as normal. Hopefully all will be well and they accept it. I am not a fussy person but to spend over $300 on something, I expect it to be pristine. I had this same issue when purchasing a bag at the boutique in the past, which is why I purchased online (only to have the same issue).
