Do all Gucci Marmont bags come with an authenticity card? Mine didn't

Hi I bought a Gucci Marmont size small from Harrods in London, It looks beautiful however it doesn't smell like leather it has a strong odor, more of a chemical smell, and there was no authenticity card. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi! I’ve purchased two Gucci bags one directly from Gucci and the other from Neiman Marcus (La Mesa, CA) and neither came with an authenticity card. If You bought it from a reputable store then it should be real. However, if you feel uneasy about it see if you can return it.

Thank you so much for your reply, I feel a lot better now, I never had a Gucci bag before and I thought it would have an authenticity card like my Chanel and Prada bags. Now I know they don't come with a card. I really like the bag so I am keeping it, the odd smell has faded so all is good. I appreciate your response.
