Distribution Center Reopening in the US?

I know the Herems distribution center is currently closed but wondering if anyone has any behind-the-scenes knowledge of then they may reopen? if I recall correctly - the US distro is located in NY (upstate) which would delay things more vs the rest of the US? Any intel out there?

I know things are varying by state and by no means do I want a business to open where it doesn't make sense just so I can get a lippy and scarf. I'm only inquiring as to any intel on what the current thought process is along with the geographic location to get an idea of shipping/timing.

There's very little to get excited about these days so I am excited to parade around in a new lipstick and scarf even if I don't have anywhere to go....

I think the US distribution center is in NJ, could be wrong. I suspect that they can't open until their state/county lifts the shelter in place, and also they usually will have to have a plan inside the distribution center for social distancing, PPE (personal protective equipment), and sanitizers. They probably will also have limited staff working so they can socially distance.

I'd also be interested in behind the scenes intel but I think H leadership is also monitoring the situation and there's no concrete plans yet until there's a lift on the shelter in place.

The US distribution center is open. I just received an email this morning alerting me that my online order has shipped. I placed the order last Thursday. One of my SA's told me the distribution never really "closed." They kept a skeleton crew to keep the website updated and prep orders for shipment. Explains how the website continued to have updated inventory and my order shipped.

I received my 4/26 order today - a scarf. Still waiting on my 4/8 lipstick order along with my 5/3 and 5/7 orders (scarves). Not in a hurry for the May orders - and I technically don't need the lippies anytime soon. Mostly the anticipation of fun things to come is keeping me going.

I originally missed out on the Tigre Royal Fleuri in pink and was SO devastated! It was intended to be a birthday gift to myself and I missed it by an hour or so. Instead I picked up the Grand Manage Bandana Love. Then I odered the Mythiques Phoenix Tattoo in Blue/white AND the La Sourde de Pegase Twilly. Then the Tigre Royal showed back up and I buckled. Now I'm on a hard-core BAN ISLAND for a few months while I regroup and wait for the rest of my 2020 scarves to restock.

The bored, sad, comfort ordering struggle is real...
