I finally got to see the distressed mocha in person. It is amazing! Here is a store display picture! It's not for everyone but I think it is very cool. The gold HW looks amazing with the distressed mocha leather! The saleslady said they can't keep the distressed leather on the shelves.
I have a couple of more pics I'll add later. I WILL have this beauty.

My store still doesn't have the bags in, but I saw some boots in this leather. I can't wait to see the bags IRL - a couple of more weeks I think for my store. I hope I love them as much as I'm hoping I will.

I did see the claret and that is just gorgeous - that's my backup plan!

Can't go wrong with gorgeous claret as a back up plan!
I am pretty sure the claret only comes with silver hw right now. It is a gorgeous color! That color is #2 on my wish list!

^^The one thing I don't care for is the "shine" the bag had in the website pictures--do you remember if the ones in the store were flat or had a shine or sheen to them?

I am definitely going to stop by MK boutique tomorrow...hope they have it already...

I saw these today at the boutique. The leather is very different from the leather used on the Runway collection last year--which looked distressed and had a smooth texture.

This year's MMK leather has a texture--it's fuzzy if that makes sense. It looks like the dye was applied with a spray pattern and then sanded off (I have no idea how the texture was really achieved!). The finish is matte.

Disappointed but glad I didn't order it sight unseen. Anyway, this one is not for me--but if you have any interest in it definitely see it in real life before you purchase.

^^ yes I agree the FEEL to it is not what you would expect. It is a furry suede like feel. I did love it though... I kept touching it.. LOL. I was petting it at the store and so was the SA. LOL
