I stepped into the Christian Dior boutique a month or so ago with my best friend and lo and behold, I was stunned to see such unique, playful and girlish fine jewelry pieces--I almost thought they were costume jewelry items LOL

Anyhow, fast forward to this past week...my favorite Saks SA found out they could get Dior jewelry too...and tomorrow (if Fedex arrives and all goes well) this ring should be arriving at my door step!!

I didnt know they even sold it at eluxury.com--its not stocked there anymore and I would assume its pretty old since the price is listed at 5550 USD and I think mine was 6050 USD now...hope it didnt actually go on sale at eluxury =X

Thanks for letting me share and I'll definitely try to post some pics!!

Anyone else out there Dior Fine Jewelry fans? or own pieces and hopefully have had good experience with their pieces or know of the workmanship etc?

I'm a fan of Victoire de Castellane too. Have you seen the latest collection Milly Carnivora? It's even more whimsical and so imaginative. I would love to add something from Dior to my collection but unfortunately the prices are so prohibitive. One day.....

ohhh yess ive seen some of the new collection pieces...very unique and whimsical too!!

i never even knew about Dior fine jewelry until i had stumbled into the boutique with my friend...



my piece came but its a tad loose so they're sending me the next smallest size so i can compare the two :)

will take pics and post once ive decided on the right size!

I am a HUGE fan of Dior fine jewellery since I first laid eyes on them more than a year ago but have not convinced myself to plunge into it...the prices are stopping me :p

I am soooooo happy for you cos that ring is really really pretty! I love jewellery with flowers, ladybirds, butterflies, dragonflies and bees!!!:D

I went to try the exact Diorette ring yesterday at my local CD boutique. It's stunning!!!

It's S$10,800. Almost S$2k more compared to the US pricing...

They have a smaller version with a bee and flowers, no ladybird and no butterfly. This one goes for S$7,900 if I rem correctly.

I am contemplating...

I believe the Singapore store has a very high mark-up on the collection. A ring I was eyeing was about S$21K but in Paris it was S$15K after tax refund. IMHO, the mark-up is too high to stomach. What on earth are they thinking??

Is the S$21k ring the large Diorette? I rem that was the price when I asked. That one is beautiful but too much for my finger cos I intended to use it as an everyday ring. U got that piece? Pl show!:nuts:

I believe it's really much cheaper in Paris. Was wondering if they would let us order via phone and fedex it over sans tax.
