Dior vs Balenciaga

Hi guys, I'm in search for a vintage bag and was contemplating between these two (Christian Dior and a Balenciaga)
Opinions will be much appreciated, if possible do a legit check on it as well

Both are pretty, but they're also very different from each other. The biggest things for me when deciding, would be the material (CD could take a little rain without a problem whereas Bal would most likely get soaked pretty fast as it seems to be partly made of canvas) and the coloring. Which fits your wardrobe the best?
