I'm just not feeling the accessories from this collection. Whenever I pass a Dior boutique, I feel like I'm passing an oasis of colour. I've never not wanted to walk in one of their boutiques but this collection isn't inviting in the least.

The grungy/gothic/90s vibe isn't what I've come to associate with Dior so I'm wondering how this collection will be received by customers.

I've been wrong before though, since I was convinced that Alessandro Michelle at Gucci would flop.

I feel the same about missing colour from this collection. Walking by Dior always feels like walking past a jewelry box overflowing with gemstones from the far reaches of the world (or a really, really overpriced candy store). Although it's not my aesthetic, I do find Alessandro Michele's work at Gucci interesting. He definitely sold a "New Look" for Gucci, pun intended.
