Just wanted to share a little bit about this gorgeous collection. I am totally in love, not surprising since I fell for the MAC Boudoir Collection too. Supposed to be in stores in January.

There will be new shadows, blush, lipsticks and/or gloss, and 2 new nail polishes.

Ooh la la! Very pretty. I wonder how they'll swatch IRL. I bought the Night Butterfly quint during the F&F sale and I can't find it! My toddler took off with it and who knows if I'll ever find it. Boo hoo!

I had been eyeballing Night Butterfly forever so when I found out that Sephora was going to have a sale I went in and had a demo done on my peepers. I opted for the night smoky eye and it turned out great! Of course I won't be able to recreate it myself, but it's nice to know what the quint is capable of.

Funny you mention karlasugar. I absolutely  her blog!!! She's truly my go-to swatch spot. I hope she never stops what she does or else I'll be lost.

Hey! I managed to get some real-life pictures of the Dior Spring Boudoir collection. Here's a couple of teaser pictures for now, and I have pics of the eyeshadow lace palettes, highlighters and lipglosses uploading in the next day or so on my blog. Unfortunately, the lace pattern does rub off once you start using it, but the 059 Pearl Glow palette is sheer and iridescent, while the Coquette is matte. You can check out more impressions and reviews on the blog

All in all...the packaging is deliciously gorgeous, but is that enough to justify the purchase?

Real life pictures of the Dior Spring collection are up on the blog!!! :yahoo:
Hopefully it will help some people make decisions on their purchases, especially now that Nordstrom has them for order ;)

Initial impressions: 059 Pearl Glow is iridescent with fine shimmer. The colors show up rather sheer, although they appear dark in the pan

Coquette (2nd palette) is more conservative in color, with matte texture. This is more pigmented in color.

Highlighter/Blush combo had sparkles throughout the entire pan, although it was slightly chalky (perhaps I was in a rush swatching it at the display?). This is probably a "must-buy" for me, due to the pretty compact. Would love to pull this out of my handbag for touchups during the day!

As you can see, the lace designs do wear off once you swatch the product enough, so the serious Dior collector will have a hard time using these gorgeous colors, lol. If you like these pictures, please visit the blog and leave a comment, we'd appreciate it very much as we put a lot of effort into finding and posting up these real life pictures. :yahoo:
