Dior saddle strap - worth it?

Hi,
I have found a preloved saddle bag (older version without the new adjustable strap) for $500 cheaper, vs. buying a new one in europe . For those that have the new saddle with strap - is it worth it? when i tried it on at home i didn't love the look with the new strap since the shoulder strap can't come off. i'm posting pics for reference - one with the matching strap, and one with a random guitar strap i had at home. Opinions?! Thanks ! The prices are so crazy anyway with the price increases !!

I think it looks good with the new strap. You can switch it around so that sometimes you hand-carry the Saddle, sometimes you tuck it under your arm. and sometimes wear it crossbody.

If it were me, I'd go with the matching strap. I like a more polished, cohesive look. But that guitar strap is hippie and if you want a casual vibe, that's the one you should go for.

I bought a black saddle bag in december! I’ve used it a lot so far but haven’t used it with the strap yet but I like that I have the option! For that reason I’d say get one with the strap because having the option is nice, more versatility = more wear!

May I ask you, if I were to choose the Saddle bag or the Fendi Baguette - which do you think would be more "timeless"?

Oh that's hard to say, since the Saddle is more distinctive but I believe the Baguette has been around slightly longer.

I would probably go with the Baguette, because as much as I love the Saddle, it actually does have a unique love-or-hate shape for a lot of people, whereas the Baguette won't elicit the same type of reaction.
