Dior saddle bag

For those who own a Dior saddle bag, how is the wear and tear? I've been on the search for a pre-loved Dior saddle bag and a lot of the bags I'm seeing have similar blemishes. I'm wondering if all saddle bags eventually wear in this way.




I initially wanted the pebbled leather thinking it to be more durable, but now looking at all these pre-loved bags maybe pebbled leather is not the way to go? What has been your experience with the saddle bag?

I don't have one, but is that the spot finger/nails would rub when grabbing it to open?

I have a black grained medium Dior saddle (essentially the same bag in your picture) and sometimes I get stains on it similar to what you've circled. For me sometimes it's makeup marks. A lot of the time I can just wipe it off with baby wipes. I haven't got any scuffs or scratches since the grained leather is very processed. I do get tarnishing on the hardware though, especially where the strap clips on.
