Dior Pre-Fall 2019

I’m actually super irritated that they did the same thing as the saddle bag and sent out bags to be blasted all over social media to bloggers. Like let the bag develop it’s own hype.

I know exactly what you mean... but at the same time I’ve definitely fallen for this bag, having played with it in person and now being bombarded by it on Instagram... I’m so weak LOL

While Dior’s move with the insta celebs is pretty blatant, I still love the montaigne and it wouldnt stop me from buying it.
I live in London and i rarely see the saddles and book totes or Dior bags generally. It might feel over satulated on social media but in reality, you’re more likely to wear the same Chanel/LV bags as someone when youre out and about than Dior.

Agreed ! I'm in San Francisco and I've only seen Dior handbags 3-4 times in public. On the other hand, I spot LV or Chanel everytime I'm in the shopping district. The only time I've seen the saddle or book tote is in the Dior boutique

Had a play with pre- Fall today and loved the maroon pieces. The ballon sleeved dress, pea coat blazer, sleeveless jacket. All lovely.
Like the culottes as well.

Saw the Montaigne and it is very nice. I agree that it might need some hype as is beautifully understated...

I'm not a fan of the saddle bag, and even with the social media marketing, it couldn't sway my mind. But the 30 Montaigne on the other hand... my..my.. it's a beautiful bag and i'm sold! It probably would of done well even without the heavy marketing.

I loved the 30 Montaigne bag when the pics first emerged. I just received burgundy oblique one and I’m in love! It’s so easy to wear and fits so much

Ran by the boutique to grab the gold slides... full on try on Hahahaha while I like the 30 I already have an hermes bag the roulis that trumps this for me. The class on the 30 was a bit rough in my opinion... it definitely didn’t align as easily as I would have liked.
