Dior or hermesHelp me chose mew slippers

Hello everyone, I want to get black slippers and would like to hear your opinion. I love the dior on me more than the hermes but I'm worried that Dior ones are not considered as classic like the orans and soon will be outdated. Also how comfortable are they? Which one should I go with? Photos attached

Another vote for the Dior. The Oran ones look a bit too mature. I passed on an opportunity to get a men's pair from the Hermes charity sale in Toronto because they looked like they were for someone older.

I'm all about getting the most out of my items. Don't like having two of the same thing as we'll (a bit minimalistic) so you think the orans will go with more outfits than the dior?

I love dior as a brand but Oran gets my vote. I got mine in gold colour recently and love it. Looking to add a white one soon!

I also agree with the dior sandals being to clunky.

You may be limited to only wearing shorts or skirts with the montaigne. I haven’t seen a picture wherein they look good with pants or jeans. If you’re still unsure about the two, you may need to look at other designs. There are for sure other black slipper options from other designers like valentino or bottega or even dior’s dway slides no need to rush

Yeah that's a good point. I have wanted to get the orans for a while now but I loved how edgy the dior looks and they covered my wide feet very well. I'll see the other brands too but most probably will get the orans. They're so cute and I want them in white, black and brown

I own multiple pairs of Oran’s, but I actually really like the Dior. I think they seem to hug the foot better.

Leather Oran will give you the best bang for your buck. It does get comfy overtime.

Oran is classic and you don't have to worry about matching hardware. In Dior I think the Dway style is the most special and unique from other brands (like the Book Tote ).
