I've never been big fan of Dior till I chanced upon the new jewellery collection by Victoire De Castellane. The inspiration is wonderfully whimsical and delightfully dream-like. I was so enthralled when I saw some of the photos, so I thought I'd share some pictures of the Milly Carnivora collection with everyone.

i love their pieces too. but the prices are outragous. Although the new kenneth jay lane jewelry for the spring/summer season is very similar and they are very cute! and the prices are much more reasonable :)

I agree, prices are totally outrageous. Then again, you can't compare it to costume jewellery since Dior joaillerie are in full gold with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious stones. My boyfriend commented that they look like rings you can buy in a toy shop! I don't think Victoire De Castellane would be very happy to hear that!

she would LOVE to hear that cause thart is her intention. to take the seriousness out of fine jewels and make them playful!

i love her and her designs and the pices are all handmade to the highest standard! seriously well done work !(just those mechanical movements she builds into some of her designs need hours upon hours of work)

ITA! I was trying on some of the rings at the boutique, and I love how detailed and wonderfully crafted the jewellery were. Unfortunately, the prices are quite prohibitive. If I'm paying haute joaillerie prices I'd want the jewellery to be timeless. I'm not sure if these whimsical pieces will still be in vogue 20 years from now.

well who knows maybe timeles pices today will be looked at as "oldfashioned and dusty" in the future,

i buy what i love and even if it it is considered out of fashion in the future i won´t care as long as i still love them

but i respect other opinions and it would be a boring place if we all loved the same items and have the same style
