I bought the gray one in the picture. I love it - it is super light and so smooth!! Tbh, I have a Chanel 22 in tweed that I love a lot (fits my laptop too). As the weather changed, I wanted an equivalent “hefty” bag. Didn’t love the Chanel 22 leather colors and bought the gray Dior Ammi instead. I wear it crossbody. I especially loved that it was quite discreet (ie no in your face branding).
Dior made a similar bag in 2007 called the Dior Cannage:
They seemed to have refined the design and replaced the strap with a chain. I didn't see the Chanel 22 inspiration at all, but most likely because I keep thinking that this Dior Cannage bag was the inspiration.

Honesty, meh! I do think of the Chanel 22 when I look at it but I think the Chanel has a bit more appeal. It’s not bad but for the money I would keep looking!
Would you by any chance have any photos/mod shots ? There’s not much shown online also, I know it hasn’t been too long but how has the wear & tear been?
I like it! The Cannage was a beautiful bag, too, and it definitely served as an inspiration. I think I like the strap of the Ammi better.
It is beautiful. Got to see one in person recently and thought it was a nice + more my style than the Chanel 22.
I am super petite - and my friend is tall - so the bag looks bigger than it is on me. It is so lightweight. I may get an additional hole to pull the bag up a bit. Just love though.
The Dior Cannage bag from 2007 looks like its held up really well, and looks a bit stronger than the new Ammi bag. But I think the Ammi bag is just lovely! Personally I do not see any resemblance to the Chanel 22. Chanel made another drawstring bag in 2017 that is reminds me of, with the chain as well.
