I’m trying to see if it’s worth ordering the gunmetal dinky chain for my Coach Cassie 19 in bluebell. I have a Callie chain in gunmetal that looks pretty good with it but just a touch too dainty ha. I can’t tell if the dinky chain is thicker or more substantial. Does anyone have a comparison or can help me out? Thanks!!

The dinky chain, at least the ones that have leather running through it are more substantial. It is a completely different strap. However if you are referring to a regular chain they are selling versus the chain / leather strap that comes with some of the dinky bags, I am not sure.

Thank you! Yes it seems like most, if not all, of the dinkies have the leather woven throughout the chain. It’s the dinky chain they sell separately on their website without the leather. I think I’ll go ahead and order it. It definitely looks a little thicker than the Callie.

I would guess it is since the Dinky bag is a little heavier than a Callie. At least it would make sense, lol

I have the gunmetal chain, but I don’t have a Callie to compare the chains. It’s a nice chain with some weight to it. Not dainty, but not super thick. It’s a nice chain. I can take a close up pic if you’re interested?

I actually JUST ordered it! If you have time and can post a pic - that would be great. Thank you! Not sure when mine will arrive :)

Me too! I took a second look at your pics and my Callie chain vs Cassie strap at the same time and now I’m thinking that they might be the same smh lol. Oh well - hopefully I can just return it by mail for free if it doesn’t work out. All of the Coach stores shut down near me and I’m super pregnant - due in a week so I won’t be taking any 2 hour round trip drives haha! My bag obsession has definitely been a distraction from labor anxiety! Anyway - thank you again for taking the time to post those pics!

Yay it worked out! So here is the gunmetal Dinky chain next to pewter Callie chain. Ironically the clasp is slightly bigger on Callie chain but the Dinky chain is a bit more substantial. I’m going to keep the dinky chain bc I like the little extra width that it has and it looks more substantial for my Cassie 19. :smile:
