Dinky 24 vs 1941 Mini Duffle

Without having seen either in person, I'm trying to get one that would fit a tablet approx. 8 x 5.5 and was wondering which is a better fit bet. the Dinky 24 and Mini Duffle. I think with case, the tablet is a little larger than an mini ipad. I'm guessing the mini duffle has more space but might be a awkward. Is the Dinky 24 too small do you think? I know the regular Dinky is way too small but I was hoping the 24 can work.

Did anyone get a mini Duffle? It doesn't seem as popular as the Dinky. Would appreciate all opinions. And if anyone got one, the dimensions esp. the top vs. bottom length. Thanks in advance. :smile1:

I think the dinky would be better. I don't have either, but there is a review on the coach web site that says the dinky 24 fits an ipad mini, and the dimensions and interior look like it might support something bigger. I have several smaller penny purses and I like the way my 3x6" phone fits in that structure, which is similar to dinky.

I also have bleecker mini duffles (not 1941) and I would not want to carry my ipad mini in those. It can squeeze in, but it makes it awkward to carry. It should feel softer - not like you are carrying around a stiff brick.

Thanks for the info though I didn't see your reply until after my purchase. But I did read the review you mentioned.. I called Coach Jax and was told there were only 8 black mini Duffles left in the country, so I decided to go with that and the leather tea rose bag charm + moisturizer to bump my total to $500 for the 30%. I also liked the oxblood lining vs the gold in the Dinky. My SA suggested since there are more burnished Dinkys left than mini Duffles, if I don't like it, I would have better chance to return and make an exchange.

Mini duffle is my favorite bag to carry. I have 3 bleecker mini duffles. I just think it's awkward with ipad mini inside. Usually I just carry my phone/card case and sunglasses.

I really like that black dinky 24. I'll have to check it out.

I also have 3 mini duffles - 2 Bleecker and 1 Snoopy. I love the way they look crossbody.

You're probably right about the awkward fit but this will be my first mini duffle and probably holds more overall. I hope they make more Dinky 24 because the black is going fast too. Unfortunately I can only afford one at this time.

And every Coach lover should have at least one right? Have you had a chance to feel the leather for the 1941 Duffle/mini Duffle? I'm assuming they are the same as the ones used for the Saddle bags. How do they compare to the Bleecker and Snoopy leathers?

I haven't seen the 1941 bags IRL. They closed my Coach store. I love the Bleecker leather! It is smooth and soft; feels like glove tanned should. The Snoopy is slightly pebbled.
