Tech digi cam for mac 10.4/apple HELP

i got my ibook like 2 days ago and now i want a digi cam to go w/. i was looking on the canon site and they said that they are not claiming their products to be compatible w/ mac 10.4. those of you that are using 10.4 what digi cam do you have? also, how well does your digi cam zoom in? thanks

Wow. I didn't know that! I'm using 10.4 but I don't currently have a digital camera (mine broke, will be getting one for my birthday). Thanks for the heads up!

I just got the Canon SD550 (7megapixels) last week and it rocks! It comes with ImageBrowser software to transfer pics from my camera to my powerbook as well as Photo Studio, which is fantastic because now I don't have to go out and buy iPhoto. I have Mac OS X 10.4 and have no problems. As far as zooming in goes, the resolution is excellent, it's hard to explain it but check out a site like bestbuy where they show you the resolution difference between 5, 6 and 7 megapixels when zooming in. it's unbelievable!
