Hi everyone, I am looking to purchase a carnelian 5 motif bracelet or 10 motif necklace to add to my (new and growing) collection. I wouldn't have a chance to go into an in store location for a few months but I wanted to get an idea of the shade ranges for carnelian before I do in case the store only has a few items. If you have carnelian in your collection would you be willing to share a picture? Thanks and appreciate all of your help in advance!

Totally in agreement with @EpiFanatic on the different variables! Carnelian in 5 motif is very challenging to shop for unless you get to see them and try them on. If you only go buy photos sent from the SA, or even videos, the stones would still look drastically different in real life, on your wrist. I just gone through the same process with my SA trying to place a deposit for the 5 motif RG guilloche/carnelian, it was exhausting to do over phone/photos/video, but quite an easy pick once I get to try them on in person.

Ok that does help. I was considering the RG guilloche/carnelian bracelet, but I don't think I will be able to purchase it as I will not have a chance to go into the store soon. Thank you all for your feedback it is appreciated and I will wait before picking out a bracelet.

May I ask if you're warm tone or cool tone? Now that I thinking more about it, my initial comment made it sound like it's near impossible to shop for the carnelian remotely. To be precise, it was harder for me to pick out the right shade of carnelian because I'm neutral to cool toned so if the stones have a tint of orange my skin would just accentuate the orange-ness. My SA on the other hand, has warm, medium skin tone and all the variations looked great on him, and appeared to a lovely shade of red. I know it's still best if you get to try them on in person, but unless you're really picky about getting the right shade of red on you, it may be easier for you to shop for one remotely if you're warm tone, as long as you avoid the ones that have very strong orange or brown undertone shown in photos you should be good. Hope this help!

That does help! I’m more of a warm/olive toned and I like how red jewelry looks on me but I think for this purchase I will wait to go in store (that seems to be the overall advice to be safe)!
