Look at the leather type in the description and that will tell you the answer.
I called H.com and they say there is a newer type of Clemence for this season and hence the price difference. Anyone else heard about this?
I have not heard that there is a newer type of Clemence. H raised price as of 4/29 on some pieces so I wonder if that is the case.
I bought it a week ago on H.com. Some other picotin 18 were selling at $2675 vs $2725 at that time. Too bad the receipt does not say what type of leather it is.
I just bought mine last Sat & paid $2675+tax. I know for sure they just got this. Description says 'Taurillon Clemence' on the receipt. I don't think it's the difference in the leather. Maybe all the GHW are $2675? Mine is GHW as well.

Then I found this magnolia one with PHW that's priced $2675. Maybe they do have different leather ones.
I paid $2725 + tax a week ago for blue sapphire from H.com It is the same Taurillon Clemence leather in the descriptions . The CS at H.com told me it is a newer leather from this season hence the price difference!?! Perhaps I should call again tomorrow.
Could it be an error? I noticed that there was a price difference online and in store for the same constance wallet last year. I just assumed that it was an error online. It'll be interesting to learn more about the new clemence.
It could be error on H.com. That site is so buggy! I bought the Kyoto bracelet from the store and it was £25 more than the website! So I told my SM and they had to inform the head office to correct the price on H.com. I was told this wasn't the only instance!
Just got off the phone with a leather specialist from the Madison store. They are indeed getting $2725 Picotin 18 for this season. The leather is called Taurillon Clemence Maurice. Basically still the same Clemence leather but with a different finish. This tanning process yields a flatter smoother grain and gives it a more rigid structure.
