Difference in Cartier and Tiffany and Bulgari's YG?

Hi all,

I started another thread for getting a RHR ring. I was going thru some old thread on the rings I mentioned in my other thread to get an idea of what suits me better when I saw a post that mentioned that Cartier 18k YG is more orange/brassy in color than Tiffany's. That got me curious as to whether there's a difference in the yellowness if 18k YG between the 3 brands.

If you have any two of the 3 brands, pls do a comparison and post away. I've the Cartier Trinity only and as such can't compare though I do remember the Bulgari's seems quite rich yellow. TIA :D

hmm... im not quite sure about Yellow Gold. But i do think Cartier's Pink gold is much paler to Bulgari's (which is an intense pink...)

I think yellow gold's diff in color is much more obvious when there is a difference in karats... I hope other people chime in. I just usually buy what i love and what i think looks good on me, but some of the ladies here are experts on those brands and can probably tell the minute differences between each and every one of them, its quite amazing! :)

Thanks Paruparo. I'm recently in love with YG and love the more yellow ones. So I'm hoping someone can chime in. Even if I go to the stores, I may make a mistake due to the lighting used in the stores. It's best if I can compare them under normal house lighting but I can only get one ring.

I own a few yg 14k pieces and I hated how they looked on me, but i bought a yg tiffany bow and this 18k looks great against my skin! pictures are in the 'tiffany twist bow' thread :D
