Hello, tPFer,

is there really a difference ? Was looking at The Bay's website (thebay.com) and they have nubuck pebble leather. And i cant seem to find it on coach.com. i may have missed it on coach.com (sold out) ? I went to the bay's actual store today and the SA was not that knowledgeable.

Please help me be enlightened. Thank you.

I have some older nubuck items. Nubuck is pebbled suede. It doesn't have much of a nap but it is softer than regular leather. It has a brushed surface and will look darker if you rub it one way. I think it is harder to keep it looking new, IMO.

I think my black on black swagger has nubuck pebbled leather, IIRC from the title. I didn't notice anything special about it.

Thanks for your response. How are you liking your swagger? I tend to like softer leather and those purses that slouch. However, i like the design and style of swagger. Im new to coach but so far in loving my nude rhyder. I am torn between getting another rhyder on black or black on black swagger.

I like it for work or when I have to carry more stuff. I prefer structured bags. The smooth leather pieces on the black on black swagger seem stiffer than the pebbled pieces. I prefer to carry it hand held. I got the smaller one (swagger 27) for errands and I like to wear that one over the shoulder. I didn't see the swagger 27 offered in black on black though.

I always forget to quote!

Thanks. I"m really torn between swagger and rhyder, even on the smaller versions!

Same, I got the navy croc embossed 37, and was looking at the chalk colorblock, but since that one is pebbled leather I wasn't sure if it would hold its shape as well. For me I really like the Swagger structured, versus slouchy.

Thanks for your opinion. Ill just wait till after the SAS. I hope they have some good deals :)

I doubt that the Swagger will be included in the SAS. If they are, I'll be surprised, since they're such a new bag.

Wishful thinking. We only have 1 coach store here in our province (canada) and i dont think they have that much stock. Just hoping that they will be forced to include the swagger or rhyder hahhahaa:)
