I know someone posted a pic of a white, greige and naturel together, but I didn't know which was which...and it didn't show the whole bag. Can someone tell me about the lightness/darkness of these two colors, or maybe post outdoor (natural light) pics of the colors? Is the naturel out yet in the City at either Nordstrom, Barneys, or NM (places that accept returns)? Thanks for your help!

I posted picture of natural and greige and they were taken outside in the sun and with flash.

I finally didn't get the naturel, my greige is a bit more gray than powder's I think.
I prefer greige because it does have more depth than naturel:love:

If you order your bag over the phone, you may want to try get pictures of it before hand to check the colour is what you expect. The Naturel I saw at Saks (w/ GH) looked so close to white, I actually had to take the white off the display to compare it to see the difference. I even checked the cards and the colour numbers were different. However, all the pics I have seen online have it way more beige than the bag than I saw. It looks like a very versatile colour, but then I am not a fan of the greige : )

I wish you well,

Bridget

Bridget, I had the same experience as you but it turned out the bag I was looking at was NOT Natural. I swear that there is a WHITE white and an off-white this season, or maybe it varies from the GH to regular hardware. Am I nuts? Once I received my Natural, I knew for sure the bag I saw at NM had to have been white. Natural is not really that light (except in my dang pics!) and it's a beige/khaki color.

I think Nanaz's pics are a really good representation of the color.

Okay, see this pic (taken from ebay)... it doesn't look WHITE white so I'm thinking people might think it's Natural. Then again, the auction doesn't list what color it is so maybe it IS Natural but with the flash it looks white-ish.

Two whites, different dye lots? I do wonder however, of the numbers that are on the white card showing the year, season etc, if the last numbers are not the colour code. I will look at home at my Vert Gazon Twiggy and Mini Compagnon to verify this. I did look at the two cards of the white/ naturel bags at Saks, and the last numbers were different.

I wish you well,

Bridget

Whites vary from season to season and I know this for a fact because I had 4 whites. I sold the First, Twiggy and the TDF 2004 City, and I kept my new f/w '06 City. I regretted selling my s/s '06 Twiggy because it was a bright white. My City from f/w '06 is more of a winter white, more ivory like my '04 white. The First was not as bright as the Twiggy but not as ivory as my new one. I'm not sure if it's dye lots or they make the winter white bags more winter white and the brighter whites for summer. I'm keeping on top of this because I want a bright white Twiggy or City.
I know the leather is much thicker in winter of '06 and also the '07's. But I'm not loving some of them. They are heavier. I weighed them. :p and I can feel the difference. The older bags have smooshy, thick leather but they're light as a feather. The newer bags have great leather but are heavier. I don't know why they can't repeat the old leather process.:confused1:
