Difference between gold and silver enamel H Bracelet

I find it weird that the gold and silver classic enamel H Brancelet from Hermes cost exactly the same. I would think that gold version would be much more expensive...

do you guys know why?

the silver version is just silver, and the other one is GOLD!!! Of course gold should cost more...no?

There are plated, not solid gold or silver.

Plating is cheap. These are costume bracelets.

Just checked - it says silver and palladium plated.

^^^agreed. Whichever one that costs less to make, Hermes just raised the price to match the more expensive one. The cost of plating is very minimal, however. Hermes is still making several hundred dollars profit on each of the bracelets for sure.
