I'm working on losing weight, but it seems like it'll be difficult to achieve the body shape I want whit just diet control and some exercise.
Should i consider lipo for my abd, arms, or thighs?
should i continue exercising and dieting while wating?
Im currntly following a diet that involves slipping lunch.

Every individual is different and therefore, body metabolism and rate of weight loss will also differ.
If you have not done so yet, please consult: your primary care physician, a registered dietician, and a board certified plastic surgeon.

1) It is highly recommended to have some initial weight loss in order to gradually lose weight prior to any weight loss procedure.
If one were to do an extensive liposuction procedure to remove a lot of fat at once, the remaining issue may be excess and/or saggy skin.
When one diets appropriately, and loses some weight before a weight-loss surgical procedure. There is less fat to take away and hence less likely there is loose and/or saggy skin remaining.

2) When one loses weight appropriately, the skin gradually shrinks and tightens as the body becomes smaller. Therefore, for the most part, there is no need to worry about loose or excess skin.
Extreme dieting can cause one to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time but may result in excess or saggy skin.

Generally, if an individual loses a lot of fat/weight at once, the excess and loose skin will gradually shrink a little over time. This does not mean that it will entirely go away on its own. That depends on the the size of the individual initially prior to weight loss and amount of fat or weight that is lost or removed.
If there is a large amount of excess skin after a procedure, generally, the patient will be advised to take the time to recover after surgery, diet, and exercise appropriately to shrink as much skin as possible, and then may have to go in for a skin-removal procedure to remove all the extra skin.

Each physician and healthcare professional has their own way of doing things based on their knowledge, experience, and practice. Therefore, if you doctor shop, do not be alarmed if you get different opinions and/or recommendations. You need to make a decision that works best for you and one that you are the most comfortable with.

These are just my thoughts and personal opinions. This is just based on my personal experience working with plastic surgeons and general surgeons. I am not your primary care physician nor your surgeon. I have no knowledge of your personal medical history or surgical procedures. Please do not take this a serious medical advise or as some kind of medical recommendation but as honest thoughts from a person on the internet. I am not liable for any decisions that you make for yourself.

If you decide to think about this route, it is recommended to be as close to your ideal weight
(lose weight very VERY slowly to allow skin to adjust) and maintain that weight for at least three months
BEFORE considering any form of lipo. A procedure called wet lipo is considered to be less invasive than traditional
Lipo. A quick google search will yield a lot of info on wet lipo).

This is only what I have been advised by my doctor, and as I am not a medical professional, it is important
to consult your own doctors. Medical advice and results might vary greatly, and your own dr is best placed to
determine whether any lipo procedure is right for any one individual.

I was on semaglutide for 3 month to help stop eating a lot food and junk. It does help me lose some weight. Those work out takes forever. But still has the muffin top. After I had liposuction to get away those muffin top. Had been waited for years to decided, finally make it.

I'm hesitant to consider it due to its significant cost and the associated risks

Forgot to add, my dr and I originally discussed this procedure be split into two procedures to minimize impact on the skin.
Originally, we thought the two procedures should be done six months apart, but in subsequent appts, we put it off. The increased time allows me to lose a bit more and stabilize. By the time I decide to do the second procedure, it probably will be about two years.

Wet lipo is less invasive bc there is no cutting. There are instead multiple points of suctioning saline that has been pumped in, along with fat away. It is also less likely to cause weird weight gain in spots that have not been subject to lipo. But, the goal is not to gain back the weight.

I didn’t have an issue with hav8ng more than one procedure bc other things, such as fat graft, can be done at this time. I personally prefer fat graft to filler. (And, if both are done well, no one should notice anything that they could not attribute to simple rest, diet, and exercise, whic( ideally should be done in conjunction with the procedure)
I recommend being at your ideal weight for 2 years prior to any surgeries personally, it's important that you are able to maintain the healthy weight
100% agree on the importance of maintaining your ideal weight prior to the procedure. This particular point is really important for the success of any lipo procedure and cannot be stressed enough.

ETA: I don’t recommend that anyone have this done in the summer bc if your dr recommends that you wear spanx afterwards, the extra layers of clothing can be hot and uncomfortable.

I’d say stick with the exercising and dieting for sure while you’re waiting to see how things progress. Even if you do end up considering something like lipo, the habits you're building now will still be key to keeping long-term results.

I would not skip lunch to loose weight unless you plan to skip lunch for the rest of your life. You should loose weight by changing your diet to one that is healthy and that you can maintain. If you can't maintain the weight loss, you'll just gain it back again.

And I also want to repeat the warning from others not to lose weight too fast. If you do, your skin will be saggy. Lipo won't fix saggy skin, that's a whole different procedure.
