Did you still desire a woc after buying your classic flap?

I’m a long time lover of the woc. Every time I thought to get one, it never felt like the right price when I could, for not much more, get a great vintage classic flap or reissue. The wocs are still very expensive second hand as they retain their value well.

I now have multiple classic bags in different sizes and leathers but still pining for that classic black caviar woc with gold hardware. I would love one with the magnetic closure (pre loved).

Did anyone out there buy their classic after getting your desired classic flaps? Did it serve a purpose? Do you reach for it a lot? When would you pick it over your classics?

I had my WoCs before my classic flap bags. I've never had the same want or need for CFs. DH got me a coveted lamb beige clair at a silent auction for my BFFs foundation and it turned out to be more practical than I expected, and I quickly added a medium rchocolate Reissue.

Classic flaps are double PLUS the WoC price, there's a need for both, but they don't compare, WoCs are just so thin. Mini flaps however.... BIG FAN! lol

I had my classic flaps before WOCs but had always wanted a black caviar WOC with gold hardware. I picked one up a while back and do reach for it, especially for events/parties/anything where you want to look polished and be handsfree but don't want to carry a big bag. The black goes with everything and gold HW makes it a little dressier. I love mine and don't regret it!

It depends. For me I bought my WOC after my classic flap, but mainly because my classic flap was a very traditional colour combo (black caviar medium with SHW) and I really wanted a small pop of colour in my WOC. Admittedly I don't use the WOC much, but then again, I have a larger collection and only really need a WOC for nights out when I'm not carrying a lot. So it depends on your lifestyle! I personally would never buy a WOC in a combo that I already have a CF in.
