Did you know? - Corduroy Appreciation Club

Did you know that there is actually a group called the "Corduroy Appreciation Club" or "CAC?" They are a corduroy fan club consisting of about 3500 members nation wide. They meet once a year to wear, talk, listen, and sing about you guessed it: corduroy. I saw it on the Sunday Early Morning show today and thought it was amusing. They even offer ridged potato chips as a snack because they resemble the corduroy pattern The annual meetings have grown each year and they plan to meet again on 11/11/11.
I like corduroy, especially my skinny corduroys from J Crew, but not to the point of belonging to the CAC...

I'm a huge fan of the J. Crew matchstick cords, too. I think I've got them in just about every color

LOL...very interesting club, indeed! But I'm not a fan of corduroy. Used to have 1 or 2 pants that I only wore when visiting countries during winter. But have since decided that it's just not my style.
