Did Coach make silver color hardware for vintage leather backpack?

I am newbie here . I started feel in love with vintage old leather Coach bag. I love it’s beauty and great quality, so started collecting some . I just only see vintage bags having brass hardware, but today I just found a bag having silver color hardware .

Did Coach make silver hardware in old time? I am looking to see your help reply. Thank you all for help.

Yes, Coach did use silver-color hardware in 1999.
