Well, Actually... Metallics have been around for years. Remember Epi Galactica? Or the limited Metallic Suhali's?

It was Marc's vision to not make a metallic bag, but a mirrored bag, which is why it isn't leather, it's PVC. Leather can't obtain that texture and that "bling" factor. So the miroir like is pure innovation, the only thing Marc was copying was the rims on a car. or a candy wrapper... or maybe even a mirror?!?! Hmm.. I don't know...
