Did anyone buy a 23p dark beige coco handle?

I found this gorgeous coco handle in the boutique over the weekend but after I unboxed it at home I noticed the leather is peeling. I wasn't sure what the problem on the corner was, but the handle definitely shows that the leather is lifting, so unfortunately this bag is going back.

I just want to ask anyone who has purchased this exact bag, are you noticing the same issue? I'm wondering if this is a problem with this collection. The color is perfect, but I don't want to waste my time chasing after it, if this is an issue with this collection.

I have had 4 coco handles in the past. Unfortunately, this is a very common problem.

Corner wear and tear, I can understand. But this is normal for the handle part too?
I adore this color, I guess I am worried if this peeling is going to spread throughout the bag.

I would return it. A brand new bag shouldn’t be peeling. I’ve my coco for 3 years now and it doesn’t have any corner wear yet
