I saw some tiny diamond studs (and I want to buy them for my goddaughter):

0.15ct
color IF
purity R
forme brilliant
taille good
set in a four claw white gold, de rest of it is yellow gold

they go for 430 euro's, this seems a little steep?

I find this quite expensive, yes, but I have no idea what prices are where you live. In the US, you can get a pair of 0.25 G-H color for about 300 USD
