I'm looking for some diamond studs for my little girl who is 7. I would like to spend no more than $600 if possible. Would bluenile.com work for me?

I really like this one- is it worth it?

Diamond Stud Earrings in 18k White Gold (1/2 ct. tw.)

I've never personally bought anything from Bluenile.com, but I have heard only positive things about their service and quality. I have a favorite jeweler that I always use. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to order from bluenile for some things. For a substantial purchase I'd probably want to see the stone(s) in person first just to make sure they "spoke" to me. KWIM?

I've never bought from these vendors, but they've gotten great reviews on Pricescope.com. I don't know if there is a discount for pre-set earrings if you are a member of Pricescope or not. What about these:

The minimum color and clarity are higher than Blue Nile's and the cut grade is likely better.

You could do a little smaller in size, .33 total weight and come in at $275.

They also have bezel settings, which will make the stones look larger, in white gold w/ .33 total weight at $275.

I'd also look at James Allen and Whiteflash's pre-set earrings.
