diamond stud question

3 is great.. but not sure if I would chance it with 1 carat plus.. for fear of losing one.

what about the martini setting..does 3 prong or 4 look better with that setting?

I have a 4 prong basket set for my 1.5 c and a 3 prong martini for .5 c studs. I think that the bigger the diamond, the 4 prong and basket looks better and more "sturdy", but with the smaller studs, the 3 prong martini helps not overshadow the diamond.
