Hi All,

I'm visiting the States in a few months time and would like to buy a pair of diamond stud earrings? Can anyone suggest a place in either Vegas or New York for diamond earrings? I have looked at Ultradiamond but not sure if they are any good. I have heard that there are heaps of diamond shops in the Diamond District of New York but I wouldn't know where to start :shrugs:

If you are visiting NY, I would suggest you check out pricescope.com first and figure out what you want in earrings. Then, you could make an appointment in person with a vendor in NY while there if you did not want them shipped.

As for Ultradiamond, they have those at outlet malls and they are really just like a Zales, Kay, etc., in my experience and you won't find any super deals or great quality for the price.

I would definitely try the diamond district in NY.

and go to a bunch.. ask alot of questions... and then go back to whoever has the best deal.

Not sure what size you are looking to buy.. but I am looking for 2 carat total weight myself... and I know its gonna be pricey. like Close to 10k for decent quality.

I think you should check out pricescope.com there have a ton of infomation on vendors. I bought my engagement ring from a vendor on pricescope (Good Old Gold, however they are located in Long Island about 45 minutes from Manhattan with no traffic:graucho:) and here is there website: http://www.goodoldgold.com/, however a lot of forum members are really happy with http://www.whiteflash.com/ but they aren't located in NY but will be able to ship to you.
