Stunning! I'm partial to the riviera (full/tennis bracelet type) because they just dazzle in person with anything from a t-shirt to a ball gown [emoji166][emoji166][emoji166]
These are on opposite sides of the spectrum.

It would be nice to have both in time. I would go for which every style you would wear most for now, and then save for the other style. Both are beautiful!
I have both. 8 tcw TN and a 1 carat solitaire. The solitaire is more versatile but it depends on your lifestyle.

I have a necklace I've worn for the past 10+ years due to sentimentality. It's why I've been hesitant to buy any necklaces in general. So not sure if this necklace would replace it as a daily wear. But I do not do large galas etc in my life. I have a tennis bracelet I rarely wear. I'd like a necklace that I can wear on special occasions but also can wear even shopping. My SA has said the full is possible in both regards.
The full necklace would be about 10-12 tcw.
The solitaire would be about 1.75-2 ct.

The full necklace would probably work slightly better for dressier occasions but overall versatility I would still choose the solitaire on a chain that is at or just below the base of your throat.
Imho you should get the solitare. A tennis necklace at that carat weight does not lend itself to daily wear as well as the solitare.
IMO solitaire will be much more practical and suitable for day to day wear, as well as with a stone of 1.75-2ct will also suit dressier occasions nicely.
