I'm being let loose in the diamond district tomorrow to look for a pair of diamond hoops. I have a $2k budget..I'm excited and nervous !
Can anyone recommend a store I absolutely must go to ?
I'm looking for hoops on the smaller side but that have the diamonds on the inside as well.

It was an awful experience.. I just walked the district by myself hopping in and out of different store fronts filled with booths.
I'm sure not all, but there were some real scammers.. I was shown g color hoops with very blatant very yellow stones mixed in, si1 stones that looked like foggy dirty glass with huge visible inclusions.. One guy yelled at me and told me all hoops use si1-si2 stones and that's what they look like and that's what I get for $2k.
Awful just awful... Won't even talk about the pressure to buy which I don't fall for.. If you but then right now this is the price but if you come back later, well then the price goes up to Xxx..
I'm sure there are plenty of great ones, but I certainly didn't find them that day.

They will be slightly more pricey but I highly recommend betteridge in Greenwich ct for diamond hoops.
