Diamond hoops- advice needed!

Hey guys,

I am planning to buy diamond hoops and I already fell in love with two pairs..

I actually prefer the design of the hoops from Bluenile.. I am only concerned about the clasp. My silver hoops have the same clasp and over the years it has become a bit bent..

Do you think this will happen with the diamond hoops too?

Which pair would you choose?

I don't honestly think they'll be as easily bent as the silver. Silver is MUCH softer than an 18K alloyed gold. It will hold up WAY longer and better than a silver one. I would get the ones you prefer the look of. I like the clasp on the Blue Nile ones better as well.

I like the blue Nile version also. Very nice!

I had gold hoops from BN with a similar clasp. They did get loose and I lost one within a month of receiving them :sad:. That being said I do think their earrings are the more attractive choice. I just wish the clasp was different.

Hmmmmm...this is a tough one.
I was just in the Roberto Coin store yesterday and saw these earrings. They really do sparkle but you are paying for the brand. You are getting slightly better color/clarity and carat size with the Coin earrings but is it worth approx. $1000. price difference?

i think so if you can get them on sale - quite often you can get them at a 20% discount at all the big department stores

If you can get them for 20% off I would buy them. They were stunning and a nice size. I was looking at a gorgeous eternity band and was offered a discount at the RC store. I wasn't really interested in the ring so I don't know what the discount was.
