dh converted my baby sage into a shoulder bag

  1. I hope it looks okay, at least I think it does and I'm happy about it. He discovered that the long strap unhooks totally from the buckle and then he looped the strap through the ring rebuckled it and then hooked the hook to the other ring. photos are attached.

  2. sorry the picture is kind of small.
  3. I think it looks great!! Great DH!!
  4. thanks, he looped it like someone did with a willis bag except he unhooked the buckle to get it through the loop. I didn't even know the strap would come apart. the only thing is that when he did this, I said now I want another one and he looked at me and sighed! lol
  5. Great idea! Thanks for sharing! Awesome job DH!!!
  6. I love it. Coach bags always used to come with this option - I guess they still do but they aren't advertising it anymore. They used to have a little leather loop to hold the two layers together.
  7. Love this!
  8. Very clever, lovemyzoes! I like it! I might have to try this one myself.

whateve, I miss that extra little leather loop too. I have a Clover duffle that has that loop and the strap-doubling option. I think the three-way FP Alexandras had a similar option, allowing you to double the long strap or leave it long for crossbody wear.
  9. perfect!
  10. wow...what a great idea!!! Very creative and to think that your DH discovered this is awesome (not that it has anything to do with YOUR specific DH...just that some kinda just look and are like..um whatever...just another bag...and never even look again at it) :lolots:
  11. Forgot that my Alexandra strap can be done like this so I just tried it on the twin bag that you have and I like it! Not a cross-body person myself.
  12. It looks great!
  13. I'm going to try it, thanks!
  14. That looks great; your DH did a good job!
  15. I'm going to try this too. For me the bs would be the perfect bag if it could be a shoulder bag too. Thanks!
