I would like to have a Karo in chevre (preferably the PM size but I am fine with a GM as well and I am looking for violet or maybe raisin or etoupe), but it is impossible to find!
One H shop has tried to locate a Karo for me but without success:crybaby:. Is there anyone who has seen one in an Hermès shop, please please please let me know.

Few weeks ago I asked again about Karo at FSH and got the same answer, not available. To my comment about it's ample availability in the States, the answer was: maybe they order it specially, but we do not, it might be produced only for foreign stores. The SA had no idea what a Karo looks like.

I'll keep looking for one from Ebay or perhaps when a colleague travels to the US, I'll ask her to bring one for me :laugh:

There were four at the Hermes Ginza store, including one in lagoon (I think, and not turquoise). Don't remember the exact colors that I saw, but I dont recall an etoupe, violet or raisin.

i know the ny stores have them. they had a pm in curry last weekend and i'm pretty sure i saw them pulling out boxes of them. i think they mentioned having rose shocking in both sizes. the madison ave store had a noisette on display (think it was noiseette and not gold) and i believe they said they had more.... hth!

Thanks! Do you know if the NY shops or the other US shops ship internationally? If not I will have a really hard time to get hold of one.

I also do think the Karos are more widely available in the US and Asia than in Europe. I had no luck in Europe this year and was able to get one from the US, thanks to the help of a lovely TPFr.

I think that you got the last one available in the US:tup: and possible the last one available worldwide. My SA made a global search for me and it didn't turn out very well. Then the most lovely tPF member:heart: (she is in the US) asked her SA search for one as well and the outcome was that the Karo is not available neither in violet nor in any other purple shade in the US. There is, or at least was, a purple Karo available in an European airport some weeks ago but they didn't ship- not even to other Hermès shops:sad:.

The good news though is that it should be possible to order and even if the waiting will be very long it is hopefully worth it!
