To all the dog/pet owners who love designer bags and want something luxe to carry around our little fur companions, here are a few tips:
1) Coach just updated the web with a new dog carrier ($498)

2) I was in a local Coach store last Friday. There are still 4 of the gold/platinum color dog carriers in inventory ($498). You can special order one but HURRY!
3) Louis Vuitton has a new dog carrier. Two sizes are available. The only problem is that they have an open top. Very pretty in person though!

4) Petote makes beautiful leather carriers. I took a chance and ordered one from my favorite Chicago boutique. Way nicer than the pictures.......mine is pretty similar to a Chloe Paddington and the hardware/leather is to die for!

5) Kwigy-bo makes a great airline approved carrier. I have the Alex in patent and it works great for a travel 'crate' for my Chi. Very pretty in person (but it pales in comparison to the Petote).

6) Gucci also has a dog tote for 2008. Also in two sizes. Downside=open top (at least from my perspective-I like having options in case my dog needs some time away from people petting her).
