I had incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty at Marble Plastic Surgery 2 weeks ago. My main concern were my uneven eyelids and Dr. Seo was able to make them symmetrical. I contacted the consultant via WhatsApp to go over details, price, and to schedule an in-person appointment. They are foreigner friendly and were able to communicate and describe the whole process with me in English. I thought the pricing was fair, be sure to ask for discounts!
Hey! Thank you for sharing the progress pics! How are your eyes now? And how’s the incision line? Do you have any photos you’re willing to share?

Hi! My eyes are definitely alot less swollen and look more natural now. The incision line on my left eye is still a tiny bit bumpy, but the doctor said it'll take time to completely heal.

my eye spacing is very similar to yours - wide set. did u do epicanthoplasty as well? i kinda want to elongate my eyes horizontally
Yup, when I went into my in-person consultation, the doctor recommended me to get epicanthoplasty due to the eyes being wider apart. To be honest, I never really noticed since the main issue I had was my uneven eyelids (mono/triple). But I just went with what the doctor recommended since he was going to cut around there anyways.

Thanks so much, that's super helpful! Your scars definitely look very minimal and seem like they're healing really nicely  Do you know how high/mm of a crease you asked for? Like did you ask for a natural or dramatic change?

yeah a lot of east azns have wide set eyes cus our eyes are just smaller in general. so you did do epi? like how much did it shorten the distance if at all?

Dr. Suh showed me what he recommended and then he showed me several other options using a pick on my eyelids. I don't know the exact mm of the crease, but I went for a higher crease that would still look natural. Any higher and it would create multiple folds for my eyelids and higher than that made it looked too dramatic for me.

It’s been a couple of months since my last post, and I’m happy to share that my results have been great! I went back to Seoul last December for additional fat grafting, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the cost was. Since I had already scheduled liposuction with other doctor, I ended up combining the two procedures. Dr. Choi is incredibly skilled, and over time, I’ve noticed significant improvement in the folds at the corners of my eyes. I’m really happy with the final results!

Hi Texas60, can I ask you how you like your results now? I'm considering Wink and Eyeho but it's so difficult for me to choose. I totally understand how you felt making this decision. Both doctors seem to be very skilled. But the only drawback for Wink is that treatment you experienced. I've been reading about other poor experiences from Wink's staff too and that concerns me for overall safety. I'm so sorry you experienced that unprofessional and completely medically unethical treatment!

Hi I think I can give an input on this  I had my incisional DES done at Wink in January and it’s been almost a month(?)personally I had the best experience and Dr. Choi was extremely professional. Again even though it’s only been a month, my results been super natural and I genuinely wish I’ve done it much earlier! I’m happy to answer any questions

Ok maybe I misunderstood and read that you had a negative experience with the staff members there after your procedure last April from the thread I was reading. Sorry if I misunderstood! I guess at the end of the day we go for the surgeon’s skills  After you gave your deposit did you get a chance to speak to the doctor directly in case you had specific questions? I just wanted to see if you would recommend Dr. Choi and I’m happy you do and had a good result! I want a very natural result like you did

Yep, even after you put in the deposit, they have a policy where if you don’t want to continue with the surgery, you can get your money back. Also they are not pushy with the whole thing too, I heard some clinics kinda pressure you into doing surgery but wink is very understanding with that! Here’s a picture of my before and after, today is my 28 day ) I’ll probably post a more detailed review later onIMG_5845.jpeg

Wow!!! Your eyes are beautiful! You can tell they are the work of a very skilled surgeon...that's why people fly to Korea to get this type of thing done 🥰 I agree with you that Wink is the least pushy. After my online consultation, Dr. Choi recommended a couple things while other clinics recommended way too much. That's why I wanted to go to him because he's such a good doctor and knows that even the most minimal of changes done right can alter your look in a very natural and beautiful way. Thank you so much for responding and sharing your story! I might have to ask you more questions once I'm closer to the date of my surgery and when I know I'll be more nervous 😂 but I feel much better about choosing Wink now thanks to you! And also very good to know that I can get my deposit back if something comes up!

Also, was the aftercare ok at the hospital?

I'm very happy for your results, they're truly wonderful!😍 All the best!

I had my surgery done at Wink last Thursday and just removed the stitches yesterday. I have a mixed feeling about the experience. The surgery itself went well. I was freezing cold when I woke up in the middle of the surgery. I told them that I needed a blanket, but didn’t get one. I was shivering the whole time. I guess the local anesthesia went off. I could feel the pain. It didn’t last long before it ended.
The Chinese consultant woke me up in the recovery room when I was still feeling dizzy. She asked me to go back to the hotel and get cash for the remaining $500. The morning of my surgery, somehow my credit card wouldn’t let me charge the whole surgery fee. I was $500 short. They promised to hold my passport until next day when I pay the rest. But she insisted that I have to pay the same day when I was in the recovery room. I had no choice but taking a taxi back to the hostel when I was so dizzy. It was honestly very dangerous being forced out of recovery room when I couldn’t even walk straight. They hold my passport and have someone came to the hotel to collect the cash when I was back to the hotel. I had to pay a fee for that person to make the trip. It was a very bad experience that they promised to let me pay the next day, but didn’t keep their promise.
The doctor is nice, but I can’t say the same about their staffs. My eyes are still swollen. I will update my result soon. Hope this helps anyone who decides to go with Wink.
Hi Texas60, may I ask how your results are now? Are you glad you had the surgery with Dr. Choi? I'm sorry you had that horrible experience withe staff! That scares me! Thank you!
