hey all, hope you guys are well.
So I bought a Givenchy mini antigona in Ivory a while back and used it carefully most days... unfortunately, I bought a denim dress and wore this bag.. stupidly... and well,. Let's just say I scored a blue antigona!
So I bought some leather cleaner from the Givenchy store and it did work, but it actually took off some of the Ivory colour from the leather. Now I have tried buying Ivory dyes but non seem to work, I just don't think they penetrate the grainy leather.

May I have some words of wisdom please?!?

If you have access to a Givenchy store, why not bring it in to see if they can repair it, even at a cost?
Givenchy store does not do repairs, in fact they end up referring you on to a more expensive place. London doesn't have its own Givenchy boutique, they have little stores within huge shopping centres, I.e selfridges, harrods... and if you haven't purchased from them, they don't want to know

A good cobbler/leather specialist experienced in restoration should be able to fix this such that the spots are unnoticeable as I've had lighter color bags (chanel, celine, givenchy etc) restored with similar color loss issues. The chanel was done by their spa....but the others I had done by my trusted cobbler.
